Matt McT is a designer and programmer living in Los Angeles. He works with local clients and with remote clients spanning the globe. His writing and perspectives come from over 10 years in the trenches of digital design, web design, and web application technology. When he's not developing websites or branding companies, he's writing music, working on motion image projects, or doing yoga.
I'm really becoming a fan of doing these in-depth reviews of websites. The key is to let yourself really say the things in your head, even if it seems stupid. You have to try to disarm your analytical side, and just talk through what you're doing. Interestingly, it's surprisingly difficult to openly talk about your own mistakes while you interact with a website or software.
Here's a cool example of going through a site on a touch-interface tablet from Apple. The device tested is an iPad Mini 2, and the website is a design for Postage Anywhere.
